महाराष्ट्र पोलीस अधिनियम, 1951 कलम 49 अन्वये कलम ______ किंवा ______ खाली कोणताही वाद उपस्थित झाल्यास बृहन्मुंबईत मुख्य शहर दंडाधिकारी व जिल्हा दंडाधिकारी यांचा, रक्कम किती द्यावयाची व कोणी द्यायची याबाबतचा निकाल निर्णायक असेल आणि याप्रमाणे ठरविलेली रक्कम ही, मुख्य शहर दंडाधिकारी व जिल्हा दंडाधिकारी यांनी मागणी केली असता, ती देण्याबद्दल जी व्यक्ती जबाबदार असल्याचे आढळून आले असेल तिने देणे असलेली रक्कम जमीन महसुलाची थकबाकी आहे असे समजून जिल्हाधिकारी ती वसूल करील.

According to Section 49 of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951, in case of any dispute under Sections ______ or ______, the decision in Greater Bombay and the District Magistrate, in the district shall be conclusive as to the amount to be paid, and as to the person by whom it is to be paid and the sum, so ascertained may, on the requisition of the Chief Presidency Magistrate or District Magistrate be recovered by Collector as if it were an arrear of land revenue due by person found to be answerable therefor.
